Hasegawa Rinjiro (1904-1988) was a Western-style painter from Hokkaido. He studied the painting by self-education and left still-life paintings and landscapes, which were filled with tranquil mood. His brother Hayashi Fubo was the author of the samurai novel “Tange Sazen”.
