Kanashima Keika (1892-1974) from Hiroshima joined Takeuchi Seiho’s painting school in Kyoto to learn Flower and Bird Painting. In Showa, his paintings changed to simple ones added some decoration, thus he continued to challenge a new creation pouring his fresh sense and multi-colors, while respecting realism.
