Nakabayashi Gochiku
Nakabayashi Gochiku (1827-1913) was a calligrapher, who was known as one of the best Japanese calligraphers in the Meiji period. After learning calligraphy in Edo, he went to China to research the technique of Chinese calligraphy, and built his own writing style on the basis of six Dynasties Calligraphy.
