Komuro Suiun (1874-1945) was a Japanese-style painter from Gunma, who studied under Tazaki Soun. He contributed to the foundation of Japanese Nanga School and became the heavyweight in Nanga Literati painting world.

天保9（1838）長門～大正11（1922）　軍人、政治家。長州藩士。松下村塾に学び奇兵隊軍監となる。維新後徴兵制を制定、近代陸軍を創設。後内相、首相を歴任。日清戦争では第1軍司令官、日露戦争では参謀総長として指揮を執る。後枢密院議長、元老。政界に絶大な権力を振るった。
